What is Tonediving?

Tonediving® is a short improvisation of roughly thirty seconds, listened to with great intensity. Despite its brevity, a tonedive has expressive power and the ability to move people.

A tonedive can consist of multiple notes, but even a single note can be enough. The key to tonediving is that you play that one note (or those multiple notes) with your entire being. With enormous intensity and attention.

This changes something in your consciousness. Your capacity to learn increases greatly. Your engagement with your music deepens, you become one with your music. By training this daily, you will play much more beautifully. Your stage confidence grows. You learn to make music effortlessly.

Who is it for?

For anyone who has never made music or improvised, but longs to do so.
